Painted Fire Red Cherries
Painted Fire Red Cherries are the top-tier of the red Neocaridina lines. The main difference between these and a standard Cherry or Fire Red is the shell—these have been selectively bred for a deep, opaque coat that looks like it has been hit with a thick layer of gloss. This opacity completely hides the internal organs and the "saddle," giving them that solid "painted" look that stands out in any aquascape. You’ll also see plenty of bold racing stripes in our colonies; it’s a common genetic trait in high-grade reds that adds a massive amount of contrast and character against the deep red body.
Every shrimp in this category is home-bred in Chester using our 15-tank pipeline. We use Superfish Qubic 30s for the grow-out stages and move them into our 60-litre Superfish Scaper maturation ecosystems for the final stage of their development. Because we scape exclusively with Tropica plants and use Hygger filtration, the shrimp live in a stable, balanced environment until the day they are sold. This home-grown approach ensures you are getting hardy, UK-raised shrimp that are far more robust than mass-imported alternatives.
